2. The Virata Board

The board contains each chakra as level, moving from Mooladhara to Sahashrara. There are two worlds, the upper world and the lower world. The Spiral in the middle depicts the path of Mother Kundalini. The Upper world has numbers in Clockwise depicting that it generates positivity and the lower ones have in anti clockwise which depicts opposite of positivity. The Sahashrara, the golden 7 the chakra, which is and outward, or upward umbrella suggest the opening of the Sahashrara, which is on the top of the upper world, and the lower is inward or downward, suggesting devolution.
The Levels are Chakras. The Chakras are divided into Segments. Each segment has a specific reason to it. So a Virata Reference Page is there which contains information about what each segment refers to.

1. The Game

The Virata game is a board game aimed to supply fun and inspiration to the players. The Game is particularly a board game and needs also sets of question and answers which comes into play along the game. The game is named after the Virata, the Universal Unconscious. As, our knowledge of the inner universe evolves, we have attempted to design a board that resembles the way our inner universe works, that obviously relates to the outer universe we face daily.
So the game is designed according to the Virata. As Virata has 7 Chakras, which gradually has left and right chakras making it 7 on left and 7 on right and in combine they give 7, which then can be represented as 7 upper chakras and 7 down chakras, which gradullay refer to Loks, or the Bhuvans. Also there are & chakras above the Sahashrara. (Nirmal Fragrance, Page 40, and some other of Nirmala Srivastava Talks) So depicting this, we have 14 stages. But above Sahashrara we have not dealt, just yet.
So, the Game has in total 14 stages. Each stage representing a particular Chakra, by looking at the board one can easily see that. So, the main aim of the game, thus is to ascent through the levels, and finally reach the Sahashrara.

Creation of the board: design concept

The board design is drawn on the scheme of the subtle system as known in Sahaja Yoga.
  • Two sides vertically displayed as in a mirror. Each one is formed by seven rounded wheels of different dimensions; they have a numbered path inside going all around and few symbols too in the segments. A flower is showed in the middle of each upper wheels.
  • A thick greysh-white spiral connecting the wheels. The two wheels at the extrem parts are truly a semirounded flower with petals sections.
  • Figures scattered around the board. The main image in the background is an interesting luminescent picture giving an idea of depth and cosmic light.
